Religion and Society...The next step?

I believe that religion has played a significant role in society, especially in Canada. I also belive that Canada has become a secular state and is intended to wipe out religion from the minds of young Canadians. Moreover, i also think that Canada is intended on purpose to drive away people from relgiion itself and focus on science and theory. However, i do not think that religion will diminish, and i say this to all those who deny religion. The reason is that it hasnt dissappeared for thousands of years, and many times it becomes strong and powerful and at other times it becomes weak and irrelevant. Yet religion continues to exist for a reason, otherwise it would not be. Thus, i believe that since society of western culture and the world as a whole is leaving religion, the faith will come back in the future. Now, how you may ask.....the only way is to prove religion. How? That is when discoveries and true scientific exploration s are made to prove the words of the books. Yet, what i dont understand, is why all this hate to religion, and why do we move away from it, i think society is changing but it will not be able to last forever as history does often repeat itself. One day, whether you belive it or not, science will not be of any help, and neither secularist ideas. What has caused Canada to become what it is today is not the science itself but of the people. Certainly people will continue to pursue advances, but for how long? Do you really think that we have unlimited powers to achieve anything we want. I mean look at the human race, death has not left, illness continues, people still have a limited life span even though it has been extended by several years, and space and water remains unexplored to the full extent or barely that is. In one earthquake we can diminish. Therefore should we not be concerned about ourselves. Thus, it remains to be known if something stronger than science exists.
